Rollix and its historical know-how in slewing rings
With more than one million rings manufactured and sold worldwide since 1969, Rollix has established itself as the technological partner of reference in numerous markets such as subway and tramway applications, forestry, machine tools, marine and medical applications. With a 21% share of the world market, Rollix is the historical leader in wind turbine blade rings installed on land or at sea.

Grinding

We offer enhanced reliability and accuracy over the entire lifespan of your application, with our unique grinding process for the raceway, and systematic pairing of the 2 rings with the different classes of balls or rollers allowing to pre-load our slewing rings. Rollix’s expertise in grinding allows to pair large diameter bearings to +/- 5 microns.

Sealing

Our unique and patented sealing designs, combined with grinding and use of specific greases, have allowed us to create our “Evolution” range of life greased slewing ring, perfectly meeting the requirements for reducing the total cost of the product over its service life and respecting the environment.

Our R&D

Each function of the slewing ring is tested and validated on our benches. Our unique wind power bench is capable of testing wind turbines of over 20 MW. The feedback provided allows us to model our unrivalled calculation tool.

OUR ROLLIX PRODUCTS

We design and manufacture slewing rings and special bearings from 100 to 6,000 mm in diameter, with or without gear. Rollix’s design and engineering departments offer innovative and customised solutions to meet your specific needs. Our unique state-of-the-art calculation tools and finite element models are correlated with the tests performed on our test benches, and allow us to precisely meet the requirements of our customers.
